On this day, Feofaniya Park was filled with a special atmosphere — lightness, trust, and the feeling that we are truly a team. As part of the joint project of the Mentoring Association with Grundfos “Pump Your Future”, we talked about one of the most important topics — mental health.
Our young leaders — the SuperMentors — led an interactive session called “Self-Help Toolkit.” It wasn’t just a lecture, but a live dialogue: we discussed what stress is, how to recognize it, and how to take care of ourselves. Some shared that a walk in the fresh air or a glass of warm water before sleep helps them, others mentioned sports, music, or spending time with friends. And that was the greatest value — realizing that simple things can also be powerful resources.
Then we moved on to practice: together with mentors, teenagers tried breathing exercises, muscle relaxation, and small everyday “stress release techniques.” It was incredibly valuable to see how the youth and mentors had prepared for this moment, and how, in a safe environment, they bravely stepped beyond their barriers — taking on new roles and even leading exercises for others. The atmosphere of trust and the mentors’ support helped everyone feel: “I am capable of more than I think.”
“It was really interesting for me. The breathing exercises were fun. The training gave us important information. I also enjoyed when we drew our hands together with mentors” — Danya.
“I was very happy to join this event, to talk openly and sincerely on different topics, and to discuss how to support our mental health. The specialists were genuine and gladly shared their own experiences and practices. Our picnic had such a warm atmosphere — we talked a lot and laughed. Thank you!” — Alyona.
A special highlight was the “Hands of Support” activity. In pairs, mentors and teenagers created paper handprints, writing inside their personal resources and ways to stay balanced. These became little talismans, reminders that each of us has the strength to overcome challenges — and that support is always nearby.

We ended the day in a cozy, home-like way: cooking burgers together, enjoying corn on the cob, and having heartfelt, informal conversations. It’s in such simple moments that true friendship is born, along with the ease of being yourself.
“I’m a person who loves being around people, so this meeting and the chance to talk with sincere people really energized me for the whole evening. I even fell asleep with positive emotions. I am incredibly grateful to everyone” — Volodya.
“The topic of support and improving psychological well-being that we discussed at the event is very relevant now. But the most important thing, the reason I was happy to join, was the emotions and the people. I really value that you organize such events for us, talk with us, and give us the chance to share too. Thank you for everything!” — Anton.
This day showed us: mental health is not only about techniques, but also about warm spaces where you are seen, heard, and supported. And it’s exactly this kind of environment we strive to create for young people together with our corporate partners.
