Kyiv City Forum of Social Workers: a Day of Inspiration, Collaboration, and New Opportunities!

Today, our team had the honor of being invited by the Kyiv City Center of Social Services to the City Forum of Social Workers — an event that brought together people who make this world warmer and safer every day for children, youth, and families.

As part of the exhibition “Best Practices of Social Work with Families and Children in 2025,” we presented the work of the Ukrainian Mentoring Association for Children and Youth. It was a wonderful space for connection, communication, and inspiration for joint action.

We were especially proud that our Association was represented by graduates of the “Corporate Mentoring: Path to Success” program, who have now become part of our team as young professionals! They spoke with great enthusiasm about their mentoring experience, shared personal stories, and answered many questions from the participants, such as:

• How does the “Young Mom” program work?

• Can one mentor support several children at the same time?

• How do we organize corporate activities for youth?

• What path should one take to become a mentor?

The interest in our work was incredible — many specialists approached the Association’s stand, eager to learn more about mentoring and explore opportunities for cooperation.

We were deeply touched by the words of gratitude from Yaroslava Valeriivna Kolobova, Director of the Kyiv City Center of Social Services, who thanked our team for our active civic position, charitable work, and contribution to strengthening support for families, children, and youth.

After the exhibition, the plenary session of the Forum of Social Workers (FSP) took place, featuring words of appreciation for social workers, and the most outstanding among them received well-deserved awards and diplomas.

We left the forum filled with pride, gratitude, and faith that together we can change the lives of children and youth for the better.
